What is the best way to convert and burn TiVo files?

   TiVo File Conversion Process

   Move program file from TiVo to Computer
   Open in VideoReDo TVSuite cut/Trim edit as desired
   Tools> Adjust Audio Volume as desired (14db 5.0x)
   Save as MPEG Program Stream (*.mpg)
   If no edit needed use DirectShow Dump (free)
   Audio volume may be low without VideoReDo TVSuite

   Convert again to MPEG-2 in eRightsoft Super (free)
   My TiVo Profile
   FF mpeg
   VIDEO
   Output Container = MPG
   Video Output Codec = MPEG-II
   Output Audio Codec = mp2
   Video Scale Size = 640X480 Aspect = 4:3
   Frame/Sec = 29.97 Bitrate kbps = 9600
   Options = High Quality > Stretch It > 48k Audio
   AUDIO
   Sampling Freq = 48000
   Channels = 2
   Bitrate kbps = 320
   Language Track = Default

   Nero StartSmart
   Photo and Video = Make Your Own DVD-Video
   Add Video File + add the super file
   More>> = Video Options >
   DVD Video = Automatic
   Quality Setting = High Quality
   Encoding Mode = High Quality (2-Pass VBR)
   OK
   New Default either Yes or No ?
   Next> Menu Desired or Menus to use = Do not create a menu
   Next> Next> Write to Hard Disk Folder and Burn with Image Burn
   or Burn with Nero

   You can use your own preference of Software like Roxio or
   whatever to burn a DVD from an MPEG-2 file, just make sure you
   use high quality process setting like I use in Nero.
   There’s probably something that’s free.

   I hope answers below will also help someone. I have not tried them, but I’m sure they are worth the try Those TiVo files are strange, especially that 480X480 ratio. I’ve tried several methods and got tired of the results. When I came to this resolve I was very happy.
