Using a blank CD-R you can burn MP3 files in one of two ways.

Audio CD – you’re limited to 80 minutes of music, but it will play on any cd player. Just open up windows media player and select the burn option. An empty playlist will open up on the right side of the wmp screen. Just drag and rop all the songs in (up to 80min) that you want and then select burn.

MP3 CD – this is a CD that simply has MP3 files copied to it. Not all players will play these CD’s – look for the “MP3″ logo on the player (or look at the player’s specs on the manufacturer’s website). There are 2 big advantages to MP3 CD’s. First – despite using the same blank media – an MP3 CD will hold tons more music, about 700mb worth. At a moderate bit-rate, 700mb amounts to about 11 hours of music. The other advantage is that it’s easier to burn an MP3 CD – you don’t need special software, just copy/paste to CD in windows explorer.
